PPS Pharmacy specializes in a wide variety of custom compounded medications. Our pharmacy has a full compounding lab on-site which enables us to work closely with physicians to create medications specific to each patient’s unique needs. Not only do we provide this service to our hospice clients, but also to the general public. From compounding medications that are commercially unavailable to Hormone Replacement Therapy and Veterinary compounding, we are trained and equipped to effectively handle almost any medication situation.

Palliative Pharmacy Solutions (PPS) was founded in 1995 by Jonathan Carr, PharmD, MBA. Jonathan grew up in his father’s retail pharmacy and became interested in serving the public through pharmacy at a very early age. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University in 1994 and carried on the family retail pharmacy. In 1995, after seeing a need for a different kind of pharmacy in the community, Jonathan extended his service to include hospice, and custom compounding. We pride ourselves on this history of distinction and look forward to continuing to serve our community with excellence.

We offer a variety of standard services to help you provide the best service to your patients, while easing the workload for your staff. Starting with the initial patient admission to the delivery of the medications, even centralized billing and reporting…we do it all! Our knowledgeable pharmacists are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consultations, medication orders, and delivery.
